I have just installed Starry Night Pro 5 onto my windows 7 OS. There is no telescipe control,and the program is saying no telescope plug in installed. How can I get one?

The Starry Night 5 installation instructions say that telescope control support has to be included when it's installed.

I believe that Starry Night software will work on Autostar-497 equipped telescopes. If you have the "classic" version of the LX200, you can convert the old control over to the Autostar-497 using a kit that is available at this link:

Yes; I am plugging a product but I don't think it's irrelevent at all Chris. If the classic controls don't support Starry Night (and I assume by the question that it does not) then a way to get computer control on his classic scope is to use my upgrade kit. Did that deserve a vote down? I think not :-) – George Dudash May 27 at 20:07
