I installed the Sky Scout CD in my Windows7 machine but when I connect via USB to upgrade firmware, audio message and Sky Scout interface states that unit is NOT connected. Does it not support Windows7??

The Celestron support site says that the SkyScout won't work with Windows 7: and also not with 64 bit Windows: It will be worth contacting them, if they see there's a demand they are moe likely to do something about it. |

Celestron do have a FAQ on making the SkyScout software work with Windows 7 x32 (no x64 support). It can be found here... http://www.celestron.com/c3/support3/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=2354 |
