What's going on here? I can't log in for anything, all I had on my account was a Google ID, and it don't work.

The problem is because of the URL change, and it shouldn't affect you if you had an email and password for your account.

If you don't, the solution is not so simple. If you only had an email associated with your account, you might be able to get back in by going to the login page and hitting 'Lost your Password?', you then enter your email and it will send a reset link. If the link doesn't work (it didn't for me, but did for someone else), you can ask an admin via email for your ID, which he can possibly get for you.

If that doesn't work, you can make a new account and ask an admin to merge your old account in, but you will probably have to go through some hoops to verify you are the same person. If you had an email associated with your account, he can send an email to that address to verify your account.

If you normally used a Yahoo ID, you shouldn't have any problems.

Once you get back in you should probably set a password just in case.

If you had this problem and it helped you, vote it up, if it didn't, leave a comment saying what you did.

I could not use my GoogleID either, but my Yahoo! ID worked. I just set a password as well - now my Yahoo! ID doesn't work either :( – Mark Crossley Apr 30 at 17:07
But after a comment from Arlen I tried my Google ID again, and that is now working. My alternate Yahoo! ID still fails though. – Mark Crossley Apr 30 at 18:02
You should be able to reset it, I would imagine. – Arlen Beiler Apr 30 at 18:20
It worked for me using a Yahoo Open ID earlier today but then it didn't, but after a few tries I got through. No magic, just persistence. – Chris Rowland Apr 30 at 19:41
I had trouble with Yahoo OpenId the other day then tried again and it worked. On a different system I went through the wame thing tonight and it took 4 tries before it worked. – Bob Denny May 6 at 3:25
