If you have the ASCOM Platform 5.5 update installed, on the Chooser you'll see a Trace menu in the upper lect. It should be relatively clear how to use the options there. Help is available in the Windows Start Menu, ASCOM Platform, Docs, ASCOM Platform 5.5 Help, Tools and Features, Serial Tracing.
Turn on Serial tracing. Look at the resulting log to see if anything is coming from the scope.
